"Why does bread always fall buttered side down???"


Before you read this article ,lemme tell you the reason ,which coerced me to write this one,a woman oppressed by some people who were beating her callously .Unfortunately i don't know the reason behind such type of brutality that she was facing but the only thing i knew about that day ,it was the Women's International Day, she hardly had heard about. I was just 14 at that time,curiously looking out the window of my school bus.Barring a few all people including shop keepers,bus drivers and many others were laughing at her having the glint of mockery in their eyes .there was a throng of people who were there to just play the role of onlookers for that slapstick. Sadly, that was the limit of impudence!!, also a spooky experience for a 14 years child about woman's life. After many fiascos to adjust throng bus driver made a detour but i want to stay there for a while .I knew no one was gonna listen to me so i said nothing .I was conjuring that situation up throughout the way until bus stopped in front of my house.i was still traumatised by how could people behave curmudgeonly like hooligans with a lonely woman .

Next day morning when I picked up the news paper to read it out. On the first page there were some pics of women who were felicitated by President.President conferred them the 'Stree Shakti Puraskars' for their outstanding and exceptional work in field of women empowerment.


On the flip side , As i turned the page ,it was a bigger trauma for me atleast when I heard about spinster's death.Yes , As per local news paper that woman was a psycho pregnant spinster who used to stroll down the roads and pavements.And the people who were beating her, were the people she had snatched away the food and goods from. Presumably she might be undeterred by appetite or just for her prospective coming child . At that moment i thought if she had not snatched the food away ,she would have been alive .But after some time i was happy about that spinster and her miscarriage becasue now they both were far away from those callous & selfish people.Police epitomized that it was just an accident.But i couldn't resist myself to get edgy.

This incident left me with a simple question .Who was reponsible for this cruelty finally??
1.Police
2.Those people
3.Government or
4.Spinster herself
